Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Warehouse/Logistics Department supporting the Manufacturing Team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, exceptional inventory management knowledge, and the ability to train and mentor junior team members.Job Title: Material HandlerShift: 1st, Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm (Mandatory/Voluntary OT, if required) Location: Peachtree Corners, GAPay Range: $20 -$22What's the Job? Receiving materials, physically and systemically, to be used in production operations and engineering projects. Physically and systemically moving approved Production materials from IQC staging areas into SMKT storage locations. (Totes and Bulk) Point-of-use parts replenishment for designated production lines. Fulfilling and transacting MT requests, received either electronically or via hard copy. Fulfilling and transacting Sales Orders and Service Transfer Orders. Production parts replenishment via SPP kitting. Packing System carts, FRUs and kits. Understand full flow of the material within stockroom locations. Participate in Cycle Count, Physical Inventories, and reconciliation activities in coordination with Inventory analyst, conduct material audits and parts verification and evaluate bin capacity and consolidations to increase storage capacity. Maintain various SOX compliance audit records and suggest CIPs to improve warehouse efficiency.What's Needed? Minimum 3-5-years of experience in Material Handling operations preferred. Ability to lift material up to 50 lbs. Ability to adhere to attendance, safety, quality, and performance guidelines. Experience training/mentoring other material handlers. Proficient in Agile and/or SAP. Inventory control experience (cycle counting, physical inventories). Possess high school degree or GED.What's in it for me? Competitive pay based on experience.
