Adecco is seeking a reliable Material Handler for a client in the Clifton, NJ area. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety while moving materials in a factory warehouse and production environment.Qualifications:Valid New Jersey driver's licenseSuccessful completion of a forklift training courseBasic knowledge of truck unloading and loading proceduresUnderstanding of forklift safety precautionsPrimary Responsibilities:Safely move materials within factory warehouse and production areasReturn unused materials to their proper warehouse locationWeigh rolls of material before and after use by production personnelProvide accurate material information to the Receiving/Warehouse ManagerSafely and efficiently load and unload trucks, storing materials properlyPerform other tasks as assigned by the Receiving/Warehouse ManagerImmediately report any mechanical or safety issues with forklifts or other material handling equipment to the supervisorQuality Responsibilities:Ensure the integrity of materials during movement and storageMaintain proper identification of materials to prevent misuseInspect incoming materials for damage or shortages, and report discrepancies as necessaryPay Details: $16.00 to $20.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
