Job Title: Material Handler$$$$$18 aboveJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. This role involves operating a sit-down, propane forklift, managing the movement and storage of both non-hazardous and hazardous materials, and ensuring all processes adhere to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, a strong ability to read and follow labels, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.ResponsibilitiesOperate a sit-down, propane forklift.Unload skids and drums off trailers.Move received product to correct locations in the facility based on classification.Read labels and pay attention to detail.Handle materials according to label and classification.Repackage small aerosol containers into and out of drums and large boxes.Pour out liquid materials into larger storage drums.Dispose of containers into dump trailers.Reload new pallets onto outbound trailers.Relabel containers as necessary.Manage non-hazardous materials such as batteries, aerosol cans, and propane cans.Learn to handle hazardous materials (solid and liquid) after going direct.Pump hazardous materials into the storage tank farm.Operate machinery to process and store containers.Why Work Here?We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance and legal support programs, a 401K with a 3.5% match, 3 weeks of vacation, 11 holidays, 7 sick days, and 1 floating holiday. You will handle both non-hazardous and hazardous materials, wearing full Tyvek suits and respirators as necessary.
