Position Title: Material HandlerWage: $20.35/hourShift: VariousHours: 5am-3pm, 3:15pm-1:15pm, 5am-5pmQPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Whitewater, WI. This is a contract to hire role.Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Obtain merchandise from bins and shelves- Execute daily operations of raw materials- Load, unload, and move materials within or near plant, yard, and work site- Attach identifying tags to containers or marked them with identifying information- Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs- Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work ticketMaterial Handler Requirements:- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time- Ability to twist, bend, stoop, push, and pull to move items about warehouse- Ability to lift at least 50lbs frequently throughout shift a must- Previous experience in production environment, especially in industrial preferred- Previous forklift (stand-up) operation experiences a plus- High level of attention to detail and accuracy- Comfortable in fast-paced settingsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
