DescriptionNIGHT SHIFT 6pm-6amResponsibilities may include but are not limited to:Load and unload material in a safe and efficient manner without causing any damage to material by using forkliftsMaintain storage area organizationReview production schedules to determine required stock for each pressOperate forklift to retrieve materials form storage locations and transport to the appropriate areaEnsure adequate quantities are available for each jobReturn unused stock to storageSupply converting machines with required materialsRemain aware of the status of converting jobs and prepare/submit status reportAnalyze and plan most efficient utilization of available spaceMonitor raw stock levels and notify appropriate designated personnel of shortages for scheduled jobsNotify remote warehouse of stock transfer needsTake physical counts of roll stockMaintain rejected raw stock and prepare for return to vendorsReceive shipments of raw stock: unload trucks; verify quantities; prepare required documents; place rolls into storageUsing a pallet jack to move finished goods to designated locationEnsure lines are set up for schedule changesMaintain material supplies to machinesVisually inspects closures before sealing containersDocumentation of production paperworkPackaging and tagging of productDisposal of scrap into proper containersGeneral housekeeping duties performed throughout shiftPhysical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodations):Physical ability to climb and work on or around machineryVisual acuity to written materialWalking, squatting, crouching, turning, twisting, stretching. climbing steps, grabbing, pulling pushing, repetitive movement & bending sometimes in awkward positionsTypical environment of manufacturing and production facilitiesExposure includes but is not limited to continuous noise, scent of materials, bright work stations, machinery with moving partsQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent, maintenance and electrical experience18 years of age or older1+ years' experience operating a forkliftLegally authorized to work in the U.S.Willing to work scheduled hours and required overtimeAbility to read and understand manuals, policies, and proceduresAbility to work as part of a team and also independentlyStrong verbal and written English communication skillsDetailedSelf-motivatedSafety consciousColormasters, LLC provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
