Job Title: Material Handler ForkliftJob DescriptionCandidates will be responsible for both material handler responsibilities and operator duties as they progress. The candidate will pelletize materials, load/unload trucks, use a forklift when needed, and downpack. The candidate will regularly operate forklifts to transport materials; however, this is not solely a forklift role. This is an operator in training position.ResponsibilitiesPalletize materials and load/unload trucks.Operate forklifts to transport materials.Downpack chemicals and handle chemical processing.Hook up barrels or end-use containers to piping systems for chemical downpacking.Assist in general labor tasks such as mixing, blending, filling, compounding, packing, unloading, and order picking.Essential SkillsMT1 Certification (1 year in Manufacturing).Forklift experience on sit-down lifts.Chemical handling experience, ideally 1 year.2-3 years of forklift and material handling experience.Experience in manufacturing and process roles.Why Work Here?Enjoy working in a small plant environment with climate control in certain areas.
