A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MATERIAL HANDLER

To provide material handling support including operating a tipping machine to load products from gaylords onto rolling tables, staging outlet gaylords in all areas and table rotation support, as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MATERIAL HANDLER

• Basic written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while at the same time fostering strong team atmosphere and positive promotion of agency.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Able to use a pallet jacket, maneuvering loads up to 800 lbs.
• Able to carry out simple instructions and complete tasks.
• Must be able to count accurately.
