Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionWe are looking to hire Material Handlers/Forklift Operators to work in a third-party logistics company. The position involves operating a forklift, handling chemical drums, and ensuring accurate labeling and staging. This is a 2nd shift position from 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday. Training will be provided on the first shift for 2 hours.
Responsibilities- Operate forklift to transport chemical drums
- Follow paper pick sheets to locate and move items
- Load chemical drums onto forklifts and transport them to the staging dock
- Label chemical drums accurately
- Repeat the process for multiple items
- Ensure attention to detail in a chemical facility
- Maintain a strong attendance record
Essential Skills- Minimum of 6 months experience with forklift/pallet jack
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse environment
- Attention to detail, especially in a chemical facility
- Strong attendance record
- Experience with various forklifts (sit down, stand-up, reach truck)
Additional Skills & Qualifications- No education requirements
- Steel-toed shoes required
- Experience with other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, scissor lifts, shrink wrap, and general labor tasks

Work EnvironmentThis position is located on-site at a warehouse. The warehouse is managed by a team of about 40 employees, including both floor staff and management. The work involves operating forklifts and handling materials in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Steel-toed shoes are required for safety.
