Job Description
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour.
- Fill storage requisitions as requested by Plants 1 & 2 and deliver same materials to plants
- Perform daily, inventories and prepare reports as required on all packaging materials, spices and operational supplies
- Maintain warehouse and warehouse equipment in a clean and orderly manner according to USDA standards
- Communicate and problem solve with and through production supervisors, forepersons, Central Supply, Purchasing and Scheduling
- Maintain records (Daily Issue Log) of materials received and issued
- Receive proper documents from outside vendors and submit through proper channels
- Communicate any shortages of materials to immediate superior
- Maintain Control of material waste
- Stage issue point with materials for all production shifts
- Assists in the unloading and loading of equipment
- Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.
Qualifications: Qualifications
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to organize and work independently
- Must have good communication/interpersonal skills, which includes ability to read & write in English
- Must have mathematical aptitude to maintain control of inventories
- Must possess a valid California driver's license with a good safety record
- Foster Farms Safety License required
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and stack boxes above shoulder level
- Must be able to climb ladders
- Must be able to climb in and out of trucks repeatedly during shift
- Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check
