**Overview**We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to work as Material Handler in our Bowling Green facility! To learn more about Berry, visit berryglobal.com**Responsibilities**+ Observe all Safety precautions, Food Safety requirements and plant rules to prevent injury to self or others and to prevent loss of material or damage to equipment.+ Follow and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).+ Maintain good housekeeping.+ Supply machines with required and correct materials.+ Transport finished goods pallets to staging area as directed.+ Safely operate shrink wrap machines and document alarms or nonconformities as directed.+ Operate resin handling system including bulk rail car unloading system, silo, bin, storage, and conveying system from bins to machines.+ Transport nonconforming / rejected product to/from hold areas as required.+ Collect and move scrap items to the appropriate scrap area.+ Operate grinder, clear jams, clean grinding area, if applicable.**Qualifications**+ Capable of physical mobility including sitting, bending, twisting, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.+ Capable of maintaining an attendance record within company guidelines and working required overtime.+ High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred.+ Negative drug screen test results.+ Capable of operating a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) in a safe and cautious manner.
