ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the timely sequencing and removal of raw materials, work in process, scrap, and finished goods in conjunction with the production schedule to all work centers.
- Store materials in designated Locations based on material flow strategies.
- Perform basic truck and trailer loading throughout the plant.
- Assist in quarterly cycle counts.
- Use radio frequency scanning devices for inventory movements.
- Material moved following F.I.F.O. principles.
- Assist with weekly, monthly, and yearly inventory of work in process, raw materials, and finished goods.
- Perform general housekeeping to maintain a neat and organized warehouse.
- Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities. Works in conjunction with the Safety Manager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to assure a safe working environment. Complies with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding company performance metrics for driving continuous improvement and making well-informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
