ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist in the timely sequencing and removal of raw materials, work in process, scrap, and finished goods in conjunction with the production schedule to all work centers.Store materials in designated Locations based on material flow strategies.Perform basic truck and trailer loading throughout the plant.Assist in quarterly cycle counts.Use radio frequency scanning devices for inventory movements.Material moved following F.I.F.O. principles.Assist with weekly, monthly, and yearly inventory of work in process, raw materials, and finished goods.Perform general housekeeping to maintain a neat and organized warehouse.Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.Works in conjunction with the Safety Manager to establish and maintain all policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.Complies with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standards.Responsible for meeting or exceeding company performance metrics for driving continuous improvement and making well-informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
