Your contribution to work that matters can be seen on shelves locally and around the world!Come be part of a team that develops the next generation of food processing technology!The Position:The Assembler supports manufacturing operations by performing bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic and pneumatic tooling. Experience in mechanical or assembly needed.Responsibilities Include: Monitors and receives all deliveries Ensures receiving reports accurately report material received Checks and records quantity and quality of good received Compare identifying information, counts, weighs, or measuring items of incoming and outing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records Examine and inspect receivables wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors Resolves discrepancies regarding invoices, packing slips and receiver reports Communicates and coordinates with appropriate supervisor for product returns/repair Properly inputs received material into computer system and forwards proper documentation to accounts payable Sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method Assist in counting of physical inventory Weighing and counting items Coordinate /communicate with supervisors and leads Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Work in accordance with health and safety regulationsThe Perks: Climate controlled environment Monday- Friday daytime schedule, no weekends Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision Company paid life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability 401k and company match Paid Time Off (including your birthday!) and paid holidays Product discounts across Middleby companies We encourage fresh air and activity through recreational activities offered during breaks and lunch Other: Employment conditional on passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Burford Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified applicants Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.   • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and write
  • Computer experience required- Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology effectively is required
  • Experience in reading measuring tools such as a measuring tape & calipers
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to read blue prints a plus
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • Organized and detail oriented
