ETC is currently hiring for a Material Handler in the receiving area of our Materials department. Representative Responsibilities: • Receives purchased material into inventory • Matches received materials to purchase order and manufacture part number • Verifies count • Communicates discrepancies to the appropriate purchasing agent • Enter PO receipts into the computer database • Follows all ESD requirements • Labels parts • Unload trucks • Ensures parts are not damaged • Drives forklift into semis and access pallet racking with the forklift • Enter miscellaneous transactions into the computer database • Fills in if needed in stockrooms • Fills in if needed on forklift • Inventory accuracy • Participates in the cycle counting procedure • Participates in physical inventory within areas • Adheres to safety standards at all times • Ensures that safe methods and practices are used • Abides by safety procedures, work practices controls, and OSHA guidelines • Wears personal protective equipment when required • Work with the Material Returns Coordinator • Help unpack, sort, verify counts, verify parts are in the condition as noted • Other duties as assigned • Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and • 6 - 12 months of practical work experience • Computer skills • Must be able to read and comprehend English • Strong attention to detail • Demonstrated organizational skills • Able to operate a pallet jack • Able to lift up to 50 pounds • Able to work independently and as part of a team • Able to use a scanner • Able to drive forklift
