Material Handler - Shift CWaterford, NY ( TypeFull-timeDescriptionCentrotherm Pay For Skill - We pay you more for each skill you cross-train on and master, regardless of the task being performed.Compensation:Starting at $24.00 / HRAvailable Shift:Monday - Thursday 9:00 pm - 7:30 amJob Description:The individual will join our Centrotherm Warehouse Team reporting to our Warehouse Supervisor. Initial training will take place during the day shift Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm but then moved to the shifts listed above. The position is responsible for ensuring that our production cells are properly stocked with raw materials and that finished goods are placed in our warehouse. Responsibilities also include receiving incoming goods and warehouse stock rotation. The ideal candidate can work independently and has attention to detail.Job duties:Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment following the principles of 5SSafely operate powered industrial equipmentEnsure that production cells are stocked with raw materialsEnsure that finished goods are removed from production cells and stored in our finished goods warehouseReceive, inspect and store incoming shipmentsConduct inventory cycle countsEnsure efficient use of time and equipment, ensuring that the appropriate records are maintained in real-time in our ERP system and that tight inventory control and security is maintainedAssist in continuous improvement projectsPerform other duties, projects, and assignments as neededRequirementsJob Requirements:Commitment to workplace safetyA high school degree is required2-5 years of one of the following skills are strongly preferred:Material Handling ExperienceWarehouse ExperienceExperience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Word is required. Prior ERP experience is preferred.Customer Focus - achieving Company, department, and personal goals through a strong customer focus.Must have attention to detail for continuous mental and visual attentionMust be a good communicator and self-motivated. Must be able to follow verbal and written communications/directionsForklift license a plusPhysical Requirements:Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hearRegularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlOccasionally required to sit and climb or balanceSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.Salary Description$24 /hr
