Job Description:
City Experiences is seeking a Part-Time Material Handler for our Statue Cruises operation in Jersey City NJ.About You: This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System. About the Opportunity: The Material Handling staff are responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filing orders from stock and packing orders or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for completing tasks delegated by the Warehouse Manager such as deliveries, stocking, etc.
  • Responsible for picking up and delivering goods and equipment to vessels as designated by their supervisor.
  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  • Prepares order by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes, placing orders in deliverer area.
  • Responsible for conducting inventory of stockroom goods and merchandise.
  • Responsible for receiving, storing and distributing of supplies.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Assist all departments as needed.
  • Additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Must be over 18.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Ability to perform standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including 90 lbs. as it may be required.
  • Ability to project a hospitable service atmosphere.
