We boldly go.**Job Summary:**+ The Material Handler will distribute either production or non-production items and materials to various locations throughout the plant. Materials may consist of purchased parts, in process parts, or finished goods.**Responsibilities:**+ Move materials with equipment to support production processes.+ Create kits of materials to align with upcoming build schedules.+ Remove and dispose of non-production materials such as cardboard, dunnage, scrap, trash, and pallets.+ Track material movements into and out of controlled locations+ Complete basic computer transactions to transact movement of materials+ Maintains the required paperwork and documentation of all parts and materials moved in accordance with the specified procedures+ Ensures work areas and other designated work areas are maintained in a safe and neat manner+ Cycle Count materials+ Organize materials for an orderly work environment+ Moves parts or finished product and delivers mail packages to various department locations and/or warehouse locations+ Operates various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and rolling carts and or move items by WAVs cart and utility vehicles to and from warehouse+ Assists with the training and instruction of new employees who may be assigned to this area+ Supports the QMS by delivering quality products and services and meeting quality objectives+ Works to consistently meet and exceed customer requirements+ Continuously strives for operational excellence and continuous improvement+ Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned+ Provide guidance while ensuring a safe and productive work environment+ Stocking and arranging of product to ensure warehouse turns of inventory+ Responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by receiving and transporting components to the manufacturing floor in accordance with predetermined safety, quality, method, and sequence standards**Qualifications:**+ Ability to work in a team setting and demonstrate a positive work attitude+ Actively practices and promotes safety+ Willingness to change, flex and learn+ Self-motivated+ Standard Work Adherence+ Customer Focused+ Critical Thinking+ Mechanical Aptitude+ Demonstrated leadership experience.+ Strong customer service skills.+ Excellent planning and organizational skills.+ Proven ability to follow through on commitments and details.+ Current forklift certification and or able to achieve within 30 days of hire+ Previous experience with material handling equipment+ Basic computer skills and basic math+ Experience in warehouse or Manufacturing environment preferred+ Committed to continuous improvement in products, services, and processesWe offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
