Job Description:
Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking to hire a full-time Material Handling Laborer for work onsite in Fort Worth, Texas to join the Kalman & Company team. Applicants must have a willingness to follow all safety and conduct rules and comply with company policies and be eligible for a government-issued clearance. Applicants must be able to work well alone and as part of a team. This position falls under the DOL's Service Contract Act (SCA).Kalman & Company, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/VSpecific Duties:
  • Assisting the Team Lead / Manager in all daily tasks and ensuring the completion of each assigned task as directed.
  • Provide technical knowledge where applicable.
  • Facilitate accurate inventory of all Chemical, Biological and Radiological (CBR) assets counted daily, by use of established warehouse (WMS) and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Assist in and complete CBR Fit Test and Size (FT&S) missions and ensure accuracy of collected FT&S data.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities, by way of visual, technical and cyclic inspection on all CBR equipment utilizing established processes, procedures and technical guidance while complying to all safety, conduct and company policies and procedures as defined.
Required Education/Qualifications:
  • Material Handling Laborers are required to be able to work on their feet for up to 8 hours a day in a non-climate-controlled environment, and to be able to lift and handle material weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • The position requires that the individual be knowledgeable with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • This position requires the ability to attain an active Secret Security Clearance and the ability to maintain that clearance with 6-month re-verification.
  • US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Education/Qualifications:
  • Experience within appropriate Navy CBR equipment is preferred.
