Job DetailsJob LocationApache Junction - Apache Junction, AZPosition TypeFull TimeSalary Range$20.00 - $20.00 HourlyDescriptionThe Material Handling Operator will primarily be operating a front-end loader or forklift, and will be responsible for loading material in customers' trucks and trailers, stockpiling material and sorting material. They may prepare worksites by cleaning them, loading or unloading materials and removing hazards.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Loading of bulk material with bucket / fork loadersUsing equipment such as a:900 Series Front End Loader800 Series Case Skid SteerWater truckForkliftBobcatFull range of body motion including handling and operating levers or controlsManual dexterity and hand-eye coordinationUse of foot controlled pedalsSitting for extensive periods of timeOccasionally lifting, pushing, pulling, shoveling, and carrying items weighing up to 100 poundsCorrected vision and hearing within normal rangeAbility to work under stressful conditionsAbility to handle the bouncing and jarring of the equipment and have the endurance to work long hours (including evenings and weekends during the busy season)Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School DiplomaBackground in construction, landscaping a plusMust be 18 years of ageCertification in using heavy equipmentPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the Essential Functions of this job.
