About the RoleLocationUnited States of AmericaFloridaOrlandoCompanySiemens Energy, Inc.OrganizationGas ServicesBusiness UnitCentralFull / Part timeFull-timeExperience LevelExperienced ProfessionalA Snapshot of Your DayThe Material Logistics Specialist will provide support for the Siemens Energy Gas Turbine Division by optimally managing the execution of product delivery and receiving processes using SAP & EWM functionality!How You'll Make an Impact* Import/Export: Process export/import shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, Pro-forma invoices, and Shippers Letter of Instruction to Siemens Germany, and Suppliers. Also process Air waybills, EEI (electronic export information), and Proof of Delivery, including coordinating with Freight Forwarders and processing all shipment documents for Berlin shipments leaving FAST Warehouse (TO, BOL, DN, Pro Forma and SLI). Assist ECC with filing EEI/HAWB documents for FAST shipments. Assist ECC with audits for documentation and process controls.* Delivery Coordination: Assemble order documents as Order Managers release deliveries, create Transfer Orders and route shipments. Expedite orders if needed. Post deliveries and create appropriate paperwork for all customers, Service (cross dock), and Berlin. Assist with redirected purchase orders (PO) and postings.* Issue Resolution: Verify the accuracy of inbound purchase orders and sales orders for export/import deliveries in order to post Goods Receipt and Goods Issue within the SAP system. Verify shipment and packing information on warehouse floor when needed. Resolve all shipping and receiving functions/problems. Assist warehouse personnel (material handlers) with SAP problems. Help to resolve Return, Repair and problem PO's (error log). Resolve inventory discrepancy problems. In coordination with the Buyers, process financial liability investigation of property damage/loss reports and claims with freight carriers for export/import shipments.* Other Support Functions: File all paperwork in appropriate files in a defined timeframe. Monitor material allocation within the FAST warehouse, maintaining a cycle inventory count of 100%. Become a proficient backup for Team members to ensure a balanced workload.What You Bring* Bachelor's Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain (equivalent experience may substitute educational requirements).* 3+ years experience in warehouse and logistics as well as inventory control.* Strong SAP experience; excellent solid understanding of MS Office.* GT product knowledge a plus!* Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
