Position Summary
The Material Management Specialist will oversee facility start-up, installation, and commissioning to ensure the warehouse is ready for cGMP manufacturing. This role involves managing daily warehouse operations, collaborating with functional teams, and ensuring material needs are met promptly. The Specialist will also develop operational plans, ensure equipment readiness, and manage materials to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use SAP to manage warehouse material inventory and ensure accurate tracking.
- Perform day-to-day warehouse logistics activities, including material handling and shipment coordination.
- Manage inventory and logistics for materials, samples, clinical, and commercial products, including outbound shipping and preparation.
- Support the writing and updating of documents, including SOPs, MBRs, WIs, training materials, and forms.
- Operate and work within a High Rack Warehousing system, ensuring proper inventory management.
- Perform periodic cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Handle temperature-sensitive materials and maintain proper storage conditions.
- Communicate effectively and provide daily support to all functional teams as needed.
- Demonstrate safe working practices and ensure a safe working environment in compliance with GMP standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Warehousing experience is required
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
