Job Title: Material Movement SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Material Movement Specialist responsible for unloading and receiving shipments, preparing outgoing shipments, and coordinating with the Customer Service team to ensure all shipping documents are completed accurately and timely. You will work in the stockroom/warehouse, gathering parts and bringing them to the production floor. This role involves a lot of standing, counting, and walking.Hard Skills2 – 3 years of related experienceExperience in packaging and shippingComputer Skills: Excel, Word, OutlookGeneral knowledge of domestic and international shipping (UPS World Ship and Fed Ex Ship Manager systems preferred)Knowledge of ERP systems preferredForklift Certification required either upon hire or ability to obtain certification within the first three months of employmentSoft SkillsAbility to adjust work pace in response to daily needsAble to multi-task and be flexible in a dynamic work environment while maintaining strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal skillsProblem solvingDemonstrated ability to learn new software/applicationsJob TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Tigard, Oregon.Work EnvironmentWarehouse and Manufacturing environment. Ability to lift 10 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. periodically with assistance. Stand or sit for long periods. Perform tasks (that may be repetitive) that require reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling, walking, stooping and/or bending. Use tools that require fine hand skills. Visually, observe and differentiate small moving parts. Ability to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required in designated areas.
