Job Description:
Your Tasks
- Plan production and shipments to the customer
- Plan incoming material
- Interface with suppliers and customers
- Order, maintain and manage stock levels as per SAP and build requirements
- Plan production areas in order to meet customer requirements and shipments
- Resolve errors within the system in order to maintain an accurate flow of information
- Ensure customer schedules and overseas bookings are entered into the system
- Ensure on-time deliveries to customers
- Manage material issues in respect to modifications and vehicle changes to ensure that stock is minimized
- Coordinate delivery of sufficient packaging in line with ideal stock levels
- Undertake special projects and activities as required
- Support engineering change process (GECOS)
- Support and initiate cost savings and optimization activities
Your profile
- 3 – 5 years experience in an automotive environment
- SAP
- Microsoft (especially Excel)
- Knowledge of planning an assembly operation
- Knowledge of customer specific systems
