Job Title: Material Prep Trainer
Status: Regular, Full-time
Reports to: Material Prep Supervisor
JOB PURPOSE The Material Prep Trainer will work within our Professional Services Group, which has the mission of providing innovative customization solutions for our customers. This position will provide training, direction, leadership, and development to one of the shifts within the Material Prep area. The right candidate will be an eager individual that displays leadership and has the track record of accomplishing tasks efficiently and on time.
- 1st shift, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- 2nd shift, 4:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a strong focus on customer service and a desire to work for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial organization. In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a roll-up your sleeves attitude.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES Responsibilities - Work with Material Prep new hires on specific functions and duties of the job tasks.
- Will be responsible for providing positive and constructive feedback to new hires on performance. Candidate will be expected to be a resource for questions and guidance.
- Trainer will be responsible for gathering feedback from new team members concerning training and progress.
- Documentation and training of standard operating procedures in core areas.
- Train new hires on the job specific responsibilities related to the material prep process.
- Assist with other various tasks as needed to support the training and onboarding process throughout our peak staffing season.
- Candidate will need to be able to work on the Heat Press Automation Line.
- Perform all aspects of the Material Prep job description when necessary.
- Facilitate learning in production environment
- Establish and maintain a positive learning environment.
Minimum Requirements - Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.

- Prior Material Prep experience is preferred.
- Must have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism.
- Prior machine experience is preferred.
- Candidate should be production oriented and have a proven track record of motivating team members to achieve operational goals.
- Must be proficient in English. Must be able to read, speak and write in English.

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Computer Skills: Some basic computer skills preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Must be able to perform constant walking, standing, climbing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs frequently.
- Must be able to push and pull up to 40 lbs frequently.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb stairs and ladders to reach materials.
- Vision (Near, Distance, Peripheral) and ability to distinguish colors.
