Material Specialist
: Job Details :

A Material Handler locates and moves materials and parts from storage areas into shops and designated work areas for production in addition to assisting in maintaining inventories. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to: loading and unloading materials using various moving equipment, identifying and inspecting material; assisting in maintaining inventories, handling, resolving, and coordinating activities with the Material Control and Production departments. Ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of previous material handling or warehousing experience. Must have basic computer skills, strong attention to details in addition to being knowledgeable of materials used in the construction of vessels.
