- Responsible for material and quantity take-offs from isometric or orthographic drawings and creation of requisitions for purchase
- Responsible for ensuring that materials are requisitioned in accordance with client's requirements and the company's systems, procedures, and policies.
- Review and understand detailed design drawings to perform material take-offs in accordance with the client's material specifications and supporting documents.
- Review and understand client's material specifications and supporting documents to ensure material items are purchased in accordance with all client requirements.
- Review Bid Packages on lump sum projects to ensure that items required based on material take-offs agree with what was included during the bid process.
- Work with Project Engineer and Project Manager to resolve any discrepancies prior to requisitioning of material.
- Communicate with Project Engineers to ensure that required support items are requisitioned in accordance with tagging and material requirements specific to the project.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a position that provides knowledge of piping materials and their different ASTM designations
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize work assignments.
