This role also helps count inventory, enters inventory data correctly, and checks the expiration date of inventory in order to keep inventory up-to-date and usable in the department. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3:30pm and every other weekend. Talent Pool - Administrative & Clerical Responsibilities
    Supports with accepting, verifying, and entering receipts for all shipments.
  • Assists with package counts to ensure they are accurate and shipments acceptable, if not will follow outline refusal protocols.
  • Helps expedite products to respective areas and/or storeroom locations.
  • Supports with obtaining signature for deliveries and document reasons for non-delivery.
  • Processes outbound shipments within assigned time frames.
  • Helps ensure that the work area is safe, equipment is secured, and the area is free of clutter.
  • Assists with ensuring that linens are collected and transported within departmental/infection control guidelines for both clean and soil cart as assigned.
  • Adheres to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols as communicated by department policies and Infection Prevention guidelines.
  • Adheres to the environmental and infection control standards established by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), and other regulatory agencies.
  • Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.
