Analyzes and demonstrates process improvements. Recommends and implements changes in methods or procedures. Understands practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Independently solves problems by examining pertinent facts. Works effectively with all levels of the organization.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesSetting up and closing out work orders in the Inventory SystemMake daily inventory entries as inventory moves in and out of different manufacturing areasInterfaces with other Corning Plants and external customers, including export, with timely shipmentProperly account for and track inventory returned from Corning locations to ensure proper disposition of inventory and credits are appliedTake in shipments from vendors and plant locations. Must verify weights and make entries into inventory systemWith other material coordinators, perform a monthly inventory count and reconciliationAll of these duties include lifting up to 50 poundsMaintain integrity of the Inventory System and make necessary updates to data tablesPerform slow moving inventory review twice a yearMaintain Inventory System access authorization listRequired Education and ExperienceAAS preferred5 + years in a similar disciplineMust be willing to travel domestically or internationally as required (
