The Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician will strive to provide proficient, competent care while ensuring accurate results. Responsibilities for the Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician
Performing a variety of tasks to ensure incoming orders are logged into the inventory system and stocked in the appropriate location. Transporting supplies to and from the off-site warehouse. Communicating to supervisor when inventory falls below designated par levels. Unloading and putting away inventory and delivering freight when it arrives. Filling orders from the Facilities as requested. Transporting materials to other HHER facilities as needed. Utilizing the digital inventory system anytime supplies are used or moved. Maintaining proper rotation of stock by pull and stock lines. Communicating to the supervisor as levels of use change to ensure proper stock for the ER's. Communicating with the supervisor when equipment or systems are not working properly or of any safety hazards. Maintaining effective communication with management, dispatchers, and other employees to ensure the highest level of operational performance.Requirements and Qualifications for the Materials Handler/Warehouse Technician
- Ability to listen and follow instructions.
- Displays integrity and honesty.
- Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Flexibility to meet scheduling demands of the department.
- Comfortable with the use of technology in the workplace.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of organization.
- Demonstrated competency of Physical Assessment within 90 days, as evaluated by Supervisor.
- Must be over the age of 18.
- To move quickly but effectively to meet needs.
- Clean criminal and driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, speak, and write in the English language.
- Valid Driver's License.
