Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.MATERIAL HANDLER / OPERATORJOB SUMMARY:The Mobile Handler / Operator is responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, operating, and managing industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries, and move them to and from storage areas and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.Transporting materials to different locations within the facility and loading trucks as needed.Unloading trucks and putting inventory away into the correct locations.Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.Securing loads to the machine before transportation.Inspecting for damages to vehicles.Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.Operating and managing technical equipment.Racking and stacking product up to 16 feet high.Loading trucks with empty dunnage.Lifting 20 - 40 pounds frequently.Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.Identifying workplace safety hazards.Adhering to safety management standards.Adhering to production schedules.Hilo worker / tugger.All things materials related.All other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School diploma or equivalent.Experience: 1+ year mobile equipment experience; 1+ year related warehouse experience; Stand-up forklift experience is a plus.TRAVEL:Travel Required: No.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Demonstrates the ability to follow systems.Demonstrates exceptional performance in current job.Demonstrates good attendance in current job.Treats team members with dignity and respect.Desire to continually improve.Material handling / flow experience.Make SAFETY Personal.Maintain self-confidence and self-esteem of others.Maintain constructive relationships.Take initiative to make things better.BENEFITS:Blue Cross Blue Shield Medical.VSP Vision.401k Matching.Tuition Reimbursement.Paid Time Off.Employee Assistance Program.Additional Competitive Benefits.Avancez advocates full equal employment opportunity for all people without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital or family status, or status as covered veterans in accordance with applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws.
