World-class Automotive supplier in the Metro Detroit, MI area is looking for a Materials Planner to join their team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Forecast supply needs for a given period
- Negotiate contracts with vendors
- Order supplies so manufacturing can continue without interruption
- Expedite orders when supplies are low
- Adjust order sizes as needs fluctuate
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business or logistics
- Supply chain and vendor management experience
- Strong negotiation and forecasting skills
- Experience with MRP and SAP software preferred
