Job Description:

Are you a detailed person who enjoys accurately maintaining inventory? Then we have a great opportunity for you. This position will work closely with our materials team to ensure material availability for scheduled production requirements. Responsibilities:

  • Assist with unloading trucks.
  • Receive all incoming packages, including raw materials, and log in our ERP system.
  • Sort all deliveries and distribute to appropriate recipients/departments throughout the building.
  • Compare packing lists to purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
  • Support inventory control by verifying PO dates to reduce unapproved early deliveries.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the appropriate manager.
  • Retain records of incoming deliveries.
  • Perform physical counts of inventory to assist plating team prepare parts to be sent out to vendors.
  • Notify buyers and/or planners of inventory discrepancies.
  • Complete inventory transactions in the system that reflect the physical movement of parts as required.
  • Package and send parts out for processing of plating, glass seals and assembly bodies.
  • Keep an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years in shipping or warehouse environment
  • Computer experience
  • Flexibility in schedule hours as company requires (working extra hours as needed)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Must be able to communicate in English with vendors.
