Are you a detailed person who enjoys accurately maintaining inventory? Then we have a great opportunity for you. This position will work closely with our materials team to ensure material availability for scheduled production requirements. Responsibilities:
- Assist with unloading trucks.
- Receive all incoming packages, including raw materials, and log in our ERP system.
- Sort all deliveries and distribute to appropriate recipients/departments throughout the building.
- Compare packing lists to purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Support inventory control by verifying PO dates to reduce unapproved early deliveries.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the appropriate manager.
- Retain records of incoming deliveries.
- Perform physical counts of inventory to assist plating team prepare parts to be sent out to vendors.
- Notify buyers and/or planners of inventory discrepancies.
- Complete inventory transactions in the system that reflect the physical movement of parts as required.
- Package and send parts out for processing of plating, glass seals and assembly bodies.
- Keep an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements: - High School Diploma
- 1+ years in shipping or warehouse environment
- Computer experience
- Flexibility in schedule hours as company requires (working extra hours as needed)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred. Must be able to communicate in English with vendors.
