As a Shift Supervisor, you'll oversee assigned production activities, including output, quality, safety, materials, department goals, and workforce development. This position supports the plant's night shift operation from 3 pm-130am, Monday through Thursday.The responsibilities of this position include leading, coaching, and motivating a team to achieve plant goals while fostering a positive working relationship with hourly production team members through engagement, mentoring, and training. You will manage daily production schedules, ensuring a consistent workflow and adjusting resources as needed. Ensuring safety by identifying and correcting issues, conducting safety training, audits, and investigations is crucial. You will also ensure quality goals are met, support plant leadership in improving production methods and standards, and collaborate with plant maintenance to minimize downtime. Additionally, you'll work with plant support operations to maintain a balanced schedule, determine staffing needs, manage attendance, and support hiring, disciplinary, and termination decisions.Base salary, $70 - $85K, plus great benefits and a 401k.
