About The PositionBerkshire Dermatology and Plastic Surgery in Lenox, MA is seeking a full-time Dermatologist for short-term locum coverage. This position focuses on managing follow-up care for patients in an outpatient office/clinic setting.
Position Details:
- Practice Setting: Office/Clinic (Outpatient)
- Dates of Coverage: ASAP (start date flexible)
- Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- Call Schedule: None
- Average Patient Volume: 25-30 patients per 8-hour day
- Patient Demographics: Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
Practice Information:
- Number of Physicians in Practice: One part-time dermatologist
- Additional Dermatology Coverage: Other dermatologists will provide support during locum coverage dates
- Office Support Staff:
- 2 Medical Assistants (MAs)
- LPN support for dermatology
- Additional staff for office coverage
Procedures and Requirements:
- Required Procedures: Biopsy, excision, electrodesiccation, dermabrasion
- EMR System: Meditech Expanse
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible – Required
- Active Massachusetts License – Preferred
- BLS Certification – Required
- DEA License – Verbal confirmation required at name clear
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination – Required
- Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 1 week after submission of all documents
