Job DescriptionYour Role:The Managing Director, Insurance Relationship Management, is tasked with developing close relationships and dialogue with key decision makers within channel and area of responsibility (insurance General Accounts), and capitalizing on these client relationships to provide the best possible solutions and ensure Invesco's success. Continue building long-standing trusted partnerships with clients that maximize long-term holdings of Invesco products and services.You will be responsible for:Relationship management- maintains and enhances relationships with existing clients. Promotes investment capability sales across the spectrum through frequent client meetings and discussions covering investment strategy, performance, new products, and market developments.Demonstrate deep knowledge of insurance asset management ecosystem in all interactions with both insurance allocators and internal partnersEstablish, build, and sustain valuable client relationships through idea generation, which positions Invesco as a trusted partner.Evaluate and size relationship potential and determine match with Invesco capabilities.Attain thorough understanding of existing client's strategy, industry position and success drivers, to support strategic recommendations.Works closely with existing clients, Invesco Investment Centers, and client service/product management personnel.Fully understand and communicate and existing client needs.Demonstrate deep knowledge of Invesco's product offerings and solutions that address current client needs. Identify, pursue and win additional key priority business with existing clientsRecord/document all communications/activities to create an “institutional” memory of each client/relationship.The experience you bring:Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred8+ years of experience within the Asset Management industry / 3+ years working directly with General Account insurance allocatorsA strong sales background with knowledge of both public and private markets productsSeries 7, 3, 63 and 65 or 66 required within 120 days of employmentConsultative, client first approach, delivering solutions, not products, to meet client needs and drive results.Hands-on experience working directly with insurance investors and decision makers on insurance general account portfoliosExcellent listening skills with a natural inclination to focus on client needs coupled with strong presentation and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to develop and execute on a strategic business plan, including effective client segmentation, resource allocation, internal network relationship building, and the effective deployment of internal stakeholders.Exceptional public speaking capability maximizing Invesco's partnership opportunities with top tier clients.A strong history of identifying and gaining an audience with key investment decision-makers and influencers.A deep understanding of the competitive landscape and technical details regarding the General Account business.This position is Remote and the Invesco workplace model will not applyThe salary range for this position in New York City is $200,000to $270,000/year.
