We're looking for a Measurement & Controls Technician to join a dynamic team! This role focuses on providing technical support for instruments and electrical systems, ensuring smooth operations across facilities and field locations. If you're skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining control, measurement, and electrical systems, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Repair, install, and maintain control systems, measurement systems, and electrical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose operational issues.
- Troubleshoot flow computers (experience with ABB Total Flow, Fisher ROC, or FB2200 is a plus).
- Test and log pipeline and compressor station safety devices per D.O.T. regulations.
- Work with tools and devices such as RTUs, PLCs, control valves, VFDs, and motor control circuitry.
- Collaborate with Measurement Analysts for technical troubleshooting.
- Supervise or inspect contract work as needed.
- Be available for callouts to respond to operational issues after hours, including weekends and holidays.
What We're Looking For:
- Required: High school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.
- Preferred: A bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical & Instrumentation or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of EPA, DOT, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API, and GPA regulations.
- Ability to read P&ID drawings and use electronic tools/test equipment effectively.
- Proficiency with computers, including MS Excel and Outlook.
What to Expect:
- Work in industrial settings, sometimes in adverse weather conditions.
- Climbing tanks and working in confined spaces.
- Exposure to materials, chemicals, and loud machinery (PPE is required).
