Job Summary:
- Trim fat and skin from meat and customize portions of products using knives or meat production equipment
- Count and stack portions per customer and company specifications
- Label portions with product numbers
- Keep cutting room clean and sanitized
- Work in a refrigerated environment
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen prep experience and basic knife skills preferred
- Experience with meat portion machinery preferred; 6 months in production or meat trimming required
- Knowledge of poultry, beef, lamb, and pork products as well as USDA grades and standards
Physical Qualifications:
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push/pull, and perform various movements frequently
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
