  • Performs disassembly, inspection, and cleaning of parts
  • Complete reassembly of gearboxes including implementing product updates.
  • Inspects and reports failure analysis of product and parts.
  • Reworks parts as required (machining, drilling, etc.)
  • Test gearboxes to ensure functionality.
  • Troubleshoots/Diagnose test bench rejects.
  • Works independently and may have limited travel locally to customer locations.
  • Performs related tasks as assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to write English.
  • 2+ years previous mechanical experience.
  • Basic math and equipment measurement skills in English and intermediate computer skills (order parts in ERP system) required.
Preferred Skills and experience:
  • Technical or vocational school or 2+ years mechanical product experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of hand or pneumatic tools; forklift or pallet jack experience
  • Previous lean manufacturing experience preferred.
