Our client is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic in Richmond, VA. In this role you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment used in the greenhouse and packaging area for growing and packaging baby leaf greens on a commercial scale for sale to retailers and consumers. In this role, the candidate will:- Drive and maintain the overall function of the automation, lighting and irrigation systems, and lead the resolution of equipment emergencies- Be the first responder for Grow Area systems/equipment, Electrical Distribution, Emergency Generator, and Plumbing systems, networking, and general facility maintenance, responding to emergencies whether remotely or on site- Monitor and Lead repairs of the growing equipment- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, networking, and ancillary systems to a root cause and in-house repair- Document and maintain preventative maintenance logs- Manage vendor service calls and on-site service to ensure proper maintenance of the system and supporting equipment- Document root cause analysis for emergency events causing interruption or downtime to the President and Green Automation15% compensatory bonus potential, medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO.
