We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Reidsville, NC for our Bottle Processing Plant.How will you play an integral role?A Maintenance Mechanic position is to ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatics, conveyor systems and production machines as scheduled, following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and engineering specifications. Complete corrective maintenance in timely safe manner to ensure plant operates efficiently.What is my earning potential?We now offer new competitive hourly rates starting at $21.00, with top pay up to $33.00 based on experience. In addition, our shift premiums $1.00 for 12 hour night shifts.Do you offer flexible shifts?We do! We now offer 12 hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. This position is a 12- hour night shift from 7pm-7am on a 2-2-3 schedule or 8 hour schedules may be available. What is essential for success?

Are you qualified for the position?
  • Performs preventative maintenance duties on the production equipment as needed to assure that down time is kept to a minimum.
  • Perform PM and CM as required in schedules
  • Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance
  • Perform repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electric and hydraulic.
  • Identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner
  • Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of machinery
  • Use variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions
  • Maintain a schedule for inspection, service and testing of machinery
  • Observe and follow all company safety rules and regulations
  • Training others
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience
  • 2 years related experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical background
  • Candidate must successfully pass required testing if required
