As an A-Grade Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and functionality of our equipment and vehicles.There are openings for 3 Mechanics, so their levels of experience can vary. There are openings due to growth within the organization and more trucks going out, so there is a high need for Mechanics!This organization maintains a fleet of sweepers, dump trucks, flatbed trucks, pickup trucks, trailers, attenuators, and various other support equipment. The ideal A tech has experience maintaining off road equipment, trash trucks or sweepers, as well as experience maintaining 26,000+ on road vehicles. CDL license also required. This is a 9-5 shift with some flexibility in scheduling; overtime as needed! The A-Grade Mechanic must have their own 1&3/4 sockets and wrenches.Why join us?

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
  • Performing preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of our assets
  • Keeping detailed records of maintenance and repairs
  • Inspecting and testing vehicles and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards
  • Collaborating with other team members to address technical issues
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certified A-Grade Mechanic with a minimum of [5] years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair
  • Proficiency in diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
