Qualifications:
* Technical degree in maintenance field plus 2 years of related industrial experience or 3-5 years of related industrial experience.
* Be willing and able to work a 12-hour rotating swing shift
* Be capable of working in high temperatures.

Logs onto SAP system to receive, update and properly close, write work orders, purchase order parts and record hours worked on orders by entering data into predetermined fields. May receive printed work orders from supervisor or customer.

Performs safety check on forklifts, other vehicles, cranes, and machines operated following check list / form.

Maintains equipment according to scheduled maintenance or as necessary, lubricates and replaces parts, or sending to appropriate maintenance area (i.e. hydraulic) for repair.

Fabricates hydraulic hose using hose cutting / crimping machine.

Repairs and fabricates metal equipment and machinery by welding, cutting, drilling, bending, shaping and brazing following blueprints, sketches, and drawings.

Monitors radio and responds to calls from operators, maintenance, or supervisory personnel reporting electronic failures or malfunctions.

Cleans tools, equipment, and work areas daily. Stows tools in proper areas, returns vehicles, cranes, lifts, and hoists to appropriate areas and positions.

Communicates with supervisors, purchasing, outside vendors, co-workers and internal customers.

Participates in the evaluation and purchase of new equipment. Attends training seminars on maintenance procedures.

Works on a variety of mobile equipment such as: Forklifts, trucks, front-end loader, mobile cranes, cars, vans, pickups, and sweepers.

Repairs hydraulic pistons, motors, pumps, jacks, and their associated parts such as solenoid coils, accumulators, spools, impellers, vanes, gears, bearings, and seals.
