Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and entry level mechanics to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our diesel-powered school buses and/or motor coaches. The ideal experienced mechanic will have a background in diesel engine systems or heavy equipment maintenance. Entry level mechanics should have an attention to detail, general vehicle mechanic experience and and willingness to learn. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Mechanic Responsibilities:

* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy equipment.

* Diagnose and repair engine and transmission systems.

* Conduct safety checks and ensure equipment compliance with regulations.

* Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work.

* Participate in scheduled maintenance and repair projects.

Mechanic Qualifications:

* Proven experience or education.

* Knowledge of engine systems and heavy equipment.

* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A valid driver's license is required, and, must either possess a CDL or have the ability to obtain a CDL license (required)

* ASE Certifications (preferred)

* Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Mechanic Pay:
