A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a PA State Inspection License (Class 7), and a minimum PA CDL License (Class B). Your background should include at least four years of experience in auto and truck repair, demonstrating robust diagnostic skills, and a deep understanding of automotive systems. Familiarity with the hazards of work and necessary safety precautions is essential to maintaining a safe environment.While not mandatory, possessing an Associate's Degree or two years of trade or technical school in Auto Mechanics will enhance your qualifications.
