DescriptionOur Jaffrey headquarters is looking for a full-time mechanic. This position will report to the Fleet Manager.Job Summary:* Responsible for all trucks, forklifts and other mechanical equipment.* Ensure preventive maintenance and regular service work are being performed at necessaryintervals.* Perform roadside and remote repairs and rescue as needed.* Arrange for towing when necessary.* Coordination and scheduling of annual vehicle inspections.* Cost effectively limit down time on out of service vehicles.* Install and replace GPS units as needed.* Learn to utilize JPRO and Geotab for diagnostic alerts and service.* Maintain reasonable inventory levels on commonly used service kits, parts and supplies.* Fill out work logs.* Other special projects identified by management.* Job Summary subject to change.* Keep garage and office area neat and clean.Belletetes is a 5th generation, family-owned building materials supply company that has been in business for over 125 years.
