Mechanical and Electrical Drafter (Entry Level)

Open to current students or recent graduates! (Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm) Industry leader in the Clifton Park area is looking for a Designer/Drafter to join their team. In this position, open due to growth, the individual will work closely with the engineering team on drafting and modeling of mechanical and electrical components. • Salary: $50,000– $60,000/year
• Location: Ballston Spa, NY
• Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8 AM – 5 PM

General responsibilities:

• Produce detailed mechanical component drawings, assembly drawings and models of large enclosures and structural assemblies
• Performing form, fit, and function studies to ensure designs meet all requirements
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to produce drawings of electrical assemblies, components, and motor systems
• Prepare technical reports, production engineering documentation, and test data
