C/A Designs, an industry leader in the manufacturer of complex aluminum dip and vacuum brazed assemblies, is seeking a talented, driven and accomplished Mechanical Assembler to join its successful and accomplished team. The Precision Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the assembly and testing of complexed aluminum chassis. This individual will be expected to embrace and exhibit our culture of honesty, integrity and good corporate citizenship. This is a critical role within the Brazing and Engineering teams and requires a detailed mind set. This role reports directly to the Brazing Supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Strives towards a culture of proactive safety.
  • Precision mechanical assembly of complex assemblies using internal drawings, shop travelers, set-up sheets and measuring tools.
  • 100% inspects work pieces for cosmetic appearance and obvious non-conformities.
  • Residual salt testing and leak testing
  • Preventative maintenance and equipment calibration
  • Dip Brazing, pre and post braze straightening.
  • Chemical cleaning of components.
  • Actively participate, in all established company health and safety training programs, and comply with all policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication.
  • Ability to read internal drawings and use basic measuring equipment
  • Ability to follow safety regulations and take directions.
