We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization. This is a role within Systems' Manufacturing and Production group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment, and (ii) operate cranes and hoists or lift tables. Responsibilities

  • Perform simple fitting and/or mechanical type assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and related units using a variety of hand tools, power tools, or equipment
  • Operate cranes and hoists or lift tables
  • Perform basic inspection to ensure the product meets specifications and quality standards
  • Identify product defects and report on issues to appropriate personnel
  • Keep accurate production records/logs etc.
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of mechanical concepts/mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with mechanical assembly in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit up
  • Ability to use hand to finger, handle, and feel
  • Ability to climb and balance
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to see, talk, and hear
