Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob DescriptionRead prints and put a machine / products together for a new production line. Lining things up, setting material, reading off of blueprintCut shape weld bend repair or joint componentsNeed to be able to frameworkMostly tube fab, structural welding and fabrication. Thick wall tubingCheck measurements and dimensions of each piece that's being worked on with rulers, measuring tapes or squaresPlace each product component in its appropriate spot as noted in the blueprints for proper alignment by using a hammer, pry bar, jack, wedge or another toolMark spots to cut and use tools to manipulate steel, plastic or other materials by cutting, hammering, bending or grinding the workpieceEmploy furnaces or hand torches to heat up materials to make them more flexible for bending or manipulation into the correct specificationReview blueprints, drawings and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completionManeuver fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, shears and flame cutters to cut, bend, grind and adjust materialsMake templates for common work tasks when conducting repetitive motions for the fabrication process to ensure a set standard of work qualityPay Rate$18.00-$21 based on experienceHours7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, OT on Saturdays as neededIf interested, please apply to this posting with an updated resume or free free to contact me directly at ...@aerotek.com.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
