Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
As a mechanical assembler, you will utilize hand and power tools to build various trailers in an assembly line format. Each team member will have their own set of parts and tools, and you will be responsible for building your section before passing the trailer to the next person in line.
Responsibilities
Utilize hand and power tools to assemble trailer sections
Read and interpret blueprints for assembly instructions
Ensure each section is built accurately and efficiently before passing it down the line
Collaborate with team members to maintain assembly line pace
Operate machinery as needed during the assembly process
Essential Skills
1+ year(s) of recent experience in manufacturing, preferably within the metals industry
Proficiency in using hand and power tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Comfortable working in a shop environment
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in general labor, production, construction, mechanical, or forklift operation
Experience working on cars or home remodeling projects

Work Environment
The work environment is a standard manufacturing setting. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and regular work jeans. The noise level can be loud when certain tools are in use. Trailers are lightweight due to the use of aluminum. The position operates on 1st shift, from 5am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
